About the Internship
The internship primarily dealt with manufacturing carbon fiber parts. I learned and applied several carbon composite manufacturing techniques, focusing on vacuum bagging and resin transfer molding. I also did some Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using Solidworks, designing various parts and geometries. Additionally, I automated the pre-fabrication material calculation process by developing a Python script that dynamically calculated the material required based on the part to be manufactured (plate, tube, etc.). Towards the end of my internship, I explored marketing by designing a market survey.
